When we first started our business in 2010, it began as a passion project—just two hobby bakers who loved the idea of combining our two favorite things: cocktails and cake. We felt the bakery scene was missing this unique twist, so we took a leap of faith and created Cupcake On The Rocks. Our tagline captured the essence perfectly: "You can have your drink and eat it too!"

As our business grew in popularity, we began to get featured on deal sites, which brought in more customers but also significantly increased the stress of balancing work, family, and the demands of baking. Eventually, we realized that our family had to come first, so we decided to close the business while still accepting small orders on the side.

By 2021, our family dynamics had shifted—our kids were older and more independent—so we felt it was the right time to return to our passion. This time, however, we approached things differently, with a focus on working smarter, avoiding burnout, and maintaining balance. Our commitment remains the same: delivering a unique and high-quality product that meets the expectations of even the most discerning customers.
